The Painting

Flower Park original painting

This one is a tribute to the famous “Jurassic Park” logo, the original one.
The first episode marked my generation. Today, you can easily see this logo everywhere, it’s total part of the pop culture. There is already a lot of détournement of the original picture, you just have to replace Dinosaur by anything, and the comic will work almost automatically, so do I. But choosing the object of the détournement was the main difficulty, for trying to keep it visual and keeping a sense in regard to the original artwork. The original logo show a skeleton, of a very voracious animal, the T-rex. Doing the opposite was to choose picture of a living things, something nice, smelling good and generous. Flower Park was born.

Jolie come from the Californian city of San Diego

Jolie stayed in Paris from the 20th of April to the 22th of April 2019.

On the picture, Jolie wear a T-shirt size M, a little bit too large for her, but she dealed with it very well!

– Was it your first time in Paris?

Yes, it was my first time in Paris, also my first time solo travel.

– What did you like in France?

Parisian is the best in self expression , through demonstrations, strikes , art, language people in Paris love sharing about their opinion about anything. I feel like Parisian has more freedom of speech than American.

– If you should share your favorite spot in Paris, witch one would you like to give?

My favorite spot would be a small coffee shop where I got to enjoy my first croissant and coffee in Paris, not like other popular attractions – Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame or The Louvre Museum I have seen on posters or TV before. This little coffee shop was discovered by me with my own experience.

– Can you tell us some words from where you are?

I’m from Sunny San Diego. It’s referred to as America’s finest city, famous for our sunny weather and beautiful beaches where you can catch earlier morning waves if you are a suffer or you can just sit on the sand to watch sunset after work like me.
