The Painting

internet God original painting

The “Eye of Providence“, also known as “all-seeing eye of God”, represents the eye of god watching over humanity. The idea come totaly randomly when I bought an original triangular canvas, and I searched for a subject fitting the triangle. The eye of god is something very iconic and that’s why I choose it quite naturally as subject.
The idea that god look alike a human is a bit strange, or funny. But since by definition, nobody saw it, why should it be a human eye?
I like surfing on internet. And if there is a place where conspiracy theories are more present than anywhere else, it’s on internet. I conclude that internet users believe more in Illuminati and reptilians than a human god. So, I finally just replaced the human eye by a reptilian eye, and called it “God of internet”.
